I admit it.
Really this time I do.
I admit it.
Sometimes I get lost down the rabbit hole that is the Internet.
Both you and I know what I am talking about. You do a simple search. Just looking for that one piece of information that you need. That one little tidbit that is going to complete that epic bit of epicness you are working one.
Next thing you know you put your head up and it is hours later. You have gone from Google hit to Wikipedia page to Blog post to News articles back to the Google hits etc.
What started out as a simple search for the simple tidbit took you on a whirlwind tour of the Internet.
Here’s the thing though. Maybe, just maybe that’s not such a bad thing.
For me it’s about discovery. About exploring the unknown or little known. It’s about find the things that interest me.
It becomes a way to recharge my batteries. A way to get back the excitement about the world again.
Maybe its just me but I don’t see the rabbit hole as lost time or energy. I see it far more as a recharge and sometimes as a affirmation of what can be.
After all sometimes we all need to be reminded of what is possible.
